Jennifer, at the core, is a visual artist.  In her personal works, she utilizes a diverse media, including oils, acrylics, wood, charcoal and pencil.

Among the themes for Jennifer’s paintings and drawings are life drawings and magnified abstractions from nudes- the organic lines of the human form.  Larger pieces on wood evolved from the faux finish studies she creates in her profession, into a framed and contained concepts in and of themselves.  Her interest in texture, color, tonalities and movement combine to evoke earth and atmosphere as well as emotion.

Jennifer’s inspiration comes in part by her family and surroundings.  At the very heart, her daughter and husband. Jennifer wishes to provide and share with her daughter, Mia, some of her own experiences, feelings, and her approach to life through her art.  Art has forever been a theme in Jennifer’s life and to be able to leave a legacy of this important aspect is certainly a motivation.  Her husband Joe gives her everything:  love, support, freedom and stimulation.  He encourages her to bring out the best in herself and maintains that art is an essential part of who Jennifer is.  Jazz and Soul music fill her life and offer a backdrop to her creative process.

These efforts and applications come through in Jennifer’s design and décor work.  She completely understands that to many, the home and family is the core of life.  She tries to bring this sensitivity to all her projects.
