Joe and Jen share a passion for architecture, history, and art. They are experts in their respective fields of General
Contracting and Interior Design. And they will work in collaboration with you to bring your homes’ custom design from plan to reality.
Joe’s roots are in contracting, however, his flare for design was born through his travels as a professional soccer player. Playing soccer professionally brought him to exotic places around the world where he got to see and appreciate
all types of living styles, architecture, and cultures.
Joe attended Fairley Dickenson University where he studied Hotel/Restaurant management. He utilized his education when he first opened a brick oven pizza parlor in Pallisades Park NJ, called ‘The Brick Oven.’ Then he furthered his endeavors by opening a restaurant in Westfield NJ, called ‘Elm Street Café,’ in which he served a continental cuisine and where he designed, built, and decorated the entire space. He then expanded his business by opening up yet another restaurant right next to ‘Elm Street Café,’ called ‘Lime,’ in which he served an unique Mexican cuisine and again where he designed, built, and decorated the entire space. He utilized his talents in a third effort when
he originated the idea of ‘Sweet Waters Steak House,’ also in Westfield NJ. Because Joe wanted to get back into the design and build field, he no longer owns, ‘Elm Street Café’
or ‘Lime.’ Owning only one restaurant allows him the time to do what he really loves, design and build.
Jen’s roots are in fine art and art history. She did her undergraduate work at Rutgers University, during which she also studied abroad in Italy at the Universita d’Urbino. It was there where her true appreciation for architecture began. Jen’s graduate work was done at Hunter College, specializing in art history with the aspiration of one day becoming a professor herself. While working on her masters in art history she realized that she’d rather be creating the art than writing about it. That’s when she began work in the world of print design in New York City.
Jen designed for Disney, Crab Tree and Evelyn, Joe Boxer, Target, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Eddie Bauer, JCPenney, and Nordstrom. You can still find some of her prints in those stores today. Her 8 years experience in print design led her to want to create art on a more personal level. Which soon led to the beginning of Di More Concepts, where she initially offered mural painting, faux finishing, and refinishing of old furniture. She focused on that work for some time and then the work evolved into a complete interior re-design.
Creativity is innate in both Joe and Jen. They are a strong team with their individual talents complimenting each other.
